About Camp Living Water

We are a camp for Native children and youth, holding numerous week-long sessions in Alberta and British Columbia.  Our main operation to date is a summer camp in July & August for children aged 6 to 16.  Our camps are held in Vanderhoof, B.C. and at Silver Meadows Church  Camp, near Barrhead AB.

Last year 460 children and teens attended Camp Living Water.  They came from Slave Lake, Wabasca, Hobbema, Calling Lake, Saddle Lake, Onion Lake, and Good Fish Lake.

The vision for Camp Living Water was birthed in the hearts of Larry and Jean Stewart in the 1970’s.  In 1980 the camp began operations with the help of volunteers and Parkland Christian Center in Red Deer.  Since its meager beginnings, the camp has now grown into the effective organization that it is today.

We are a registered charity in Canada running solely on donations and the help of volunteers.  If you would like to make a donation please click here.
